Diana Aldrete


Diana is a Mexi-Salvi-American queer Latina visual artist, writer, and musician. Currently she is a Visiting Assistant Professor with a focus on contemporary Mexican and Latin American Literature. She received her formal education both in Mexico and in Milwaukee, WI before moving to the East Coast earning a PhD in Hispanic Literature from the University at Albany (SUNY). She is passionate about creating care circles with women of color that focus on support, intersectionality, solidarity, and healing justice.
