Based in Oakland, CA, Ashleigh is a Bay-Area born and raised Latinx leader and communications professional at the intersection of tech, strategic communications, and diversity, inclusion and social justice. Currently, Ashleigh is the Digital Marketing Manager at Daughters of Rosie, a startup focused on helping people find stable hands-on jobs in manufacturing.

Prior to Daughters of Rosie, she worked at SMASH, the signature STEM education program of the Kapor Center, of which she is also an alumna. She has also worked in tech at companies like LinkedIn and CBS Interactive, as well as worked for herself as an independent communications consultant.

Ashleigh graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies and a minor in Human Rights. She is also an Emma Bowen Foundation Fellow, and a proud Hermana of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. In her free time, she enjoys documentary films, stand-up comedy, cooking, yoga and salsa dancing.
